Pacific (CEB) has announced that it will commence direct flights
between Hong Kong and Kalibo - the jump-off point for the popular
Philippine resort island of Boracay. From 23 March 2012, the low-cost
carrier will offer three weekly flights on the route, using a brand new
Airbus A320 aircraft. The service will become the first international
route from Kalibo International Airport.
“CEB continues to provide Hong Kong nationals and foreign tourists the most convenient travel options in the Philippines with its newest fastest flights to Boracay. One of the Philippines’ top tourist destinations, Boracay is a popular beach, diving and wedding destination in Asia,” said CEB’s Vice President of Marketing & Distribution, Candice Iyog.
Boracay lies approximately 2km off the coast of Panay Island, in the Western Visayas region of the central Philippines.
