London Boutique hotels development in full power #bohosummit

Tim Smith from HVS shared an interesting map of Central London transactions in the Boutique hotel sector at the 1st edition of the Boutique Hotel Summit held in London earlier this week.

8 properties are in development (in brackets the estimated opening time):

Bulgari London in Knightsbridge (2012)
Ham Yard in Soho (2012)
Belgraves – A Thomspon Hotel in Belgravia (2012)

South Place Hotel in Liverpool Street area (summer 2012)
Willow Street Hotel in Old Street area (2012)
Curtain Road Hotel in Shoreditch area (2012)

Marconi House to become Me by Melia (173 rooms) for £110M in Dec 2009
St Ermins Hotel (275 rooms) for £65M in May 2010
Cadogan Hotel for £15.4M in March 2011
Blakes Hotel (51 rooms) for £20M in October 2010 (boutght from receivership and recently re-opened)
10 Trinity Square (100 rooms) for £70M in December 2010
Hoxton Hotel for an undisclosed sum
Berners Hotel acquired by Marriott to become an Edition hotel in 2012
