“Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” is an upcoming Hindi movie that starrs Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar in main lead roles.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Not just because it pairs Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif together for the first time on screen, but also because it features Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar, who is also known as a prince of pop in a pivotal role in the film.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is a musical romantic comedy set around a love triangle. It is a story of a middle class north Indian family. In this movie Imran Khan is searching for a dulhan (bride) for his brother (played by Ali Zafar) who is very eager to get married. In the process Imran meets Katrina Kaif who will be seen in a Rockstar avatar in the movie smoking “bidi” and playing “guitar”.
Twist comes when Imran falls in love with his brother`s Dulhan (Katrina Kaif).
The film promises lots of twist and turns, humor, romance and fun-ride.
The film is written and directed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films Banner. The Movie is expected to be release on 9th September, 2011.
