Grand Finale in the capital: on December 5th, the world's best skateboarders and BMXers will meet for this year's last Telekom Extreme Playgrounds. The Berlin Velodrom however won't just feature the only World Cup Skateboarding Event Germany's and an international BMX contest with all the winners from last year and the confirmed appearance of skateboard pros Chris Haslam, Tyler Handley, Ryan DeCenzo, as well as the BMXers Michael Beran, Ben Hennon, Steve McCann, Zack Warden and Austin Coleman. Top-notch and exclusive performances in the area of music will also be presented. Aside from an undisclosed, secret act, US indie rockers Panic! At the Disco will also be playing. The guys from Las Vegas are coming to Berlin especially for the Funsport event, before they continue on to Buenos Aires. After BoySetsFire gave their farewell concert at the very first edition of the Playgrounds in 2007, this is the ideal place to also celebrate their comeback: the US Post Hardcore quintet is back and wants to celebrate the occasion adequately with its fans in an exclusive gig at this year's last Telekom Extreme Playgrounds.
Day tickets are available for 25 Euro plus fees in advance and at the box-office. If you join up with your buddies, it'll be cheaper: with the 5-friend ticket, four pay and one goes free - since the small group pass costs 100 Euro (plus fees). It is only available in advance sales though. All tickets include the BVG, so the round trip on the day of the event is free with all of the BVG means of transportation (DB- German railway 2nd class).
