Refrigeration system from Rinac India

Rinac India Limited, which offers end-to-end engineering solutions for the cold chain and modular construction industries, on Monday, announced the launch of a refrigeration system consisting of both evaporating and condensing units. Addressing presspersons here, Chief Executive Officer R. Krishnan claimed Rinac was the only company to offer outdoor and indoor units. Other manufacturers in the market, Indian and MNCs, either supplied the evaporating unit or the condensing unit, “leaving it to the expertise of the purchaser for integrating both the units,” he pointed out. The size of the market for the refrigeration systems across hospitality (hotels, restaurants and fast food houses), dairy (milk, milk products and ice cream), food/food processing (processed food, retail chains, industrial canteens, meat and marine food processing) and horticulture industries is around Rs.200 crore. The growth is expected to be significant with the food retail segment set for a phenomenal growth. With the launch of refrigeration system ‘Cool Barn', the company is targeting 20 per cent of the market over the next couple of years. A total of 46 models have been launched and they are priced between Rs.40,000 and Rs.5 lakh
