THE AMERICAS

Cornell graduate Brad Jencks has been appointed General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, taking over from James McManemon. Jencks was slated to open the still developing Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage and had stepped in as General Manager for the Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas, the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay and the Ritz-Carlton Cancun. He had previously served as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas from 2004 to 2006.

James McManemon has transferred to the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island as General Manager. He was most recently with the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota as General Manager and is a former General Manager for the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta.

Bacara Resort & Spa has named Kathleen Cochran General Manager. She was most recently the General Manager at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort. Cochran is the former Senior Vice President Marketing at the Hotel Del Coronado and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel.

Indu Brar has been named General Manager for the Fairmont Boston at Battery Wharf. She was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Fairmont The Plaza in New York. She is the former General Manager at the Fairmont Winnipeg.

The soon-to-open Hyatt 48 Lex has named Mark Wagner General Manager. He has been with Hyatt for over fourteen years, most recently as Rooms Executive for the Grand Hyatt New York.

Mark Sahler has been promoted to Area Director of Operations - The Americas with Ritz-Carlton. He was most recently the Director of Operations at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe. He had previously served in food and beverage management posts for the Ritz-Carlton Denver, the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch and the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation.

Brandon McCurley has moved up to the General Manager post and joined the Parker Palm Springs. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the New York Palace. He had previously served in food and beverage management posts for the Ritz-Carlton San Juan, the Hilton New York and the Waldorf=Astoria New York. At the Parker, he takes over for Thomas Meding.

Jeff Dziak has moved to the Ritz-Carlton Westchester as General Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager for the Ritz-Carlton Orlando. Dziak had previously overseen food and beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island and the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix.

The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort has named Glenn Sampert General Manager. He previously served as General Manager of the Westin Los Angeles Airport and Hotel Manager for the Westin Maui Resort & Spa.

Steven White has joined the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort as Hotel Manager. He was most recently in the same post at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel.

Vijay Singh has joined Salamander Hospitality in Charleston as Vice President of Operations. He was most recently with the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island as General Manager. He had previously been with Ritz-Carlton for thirteen years, overseeing food and beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Naples and the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta.

Curtin Bluff on Antigua has appointed Christopher Eastmond as General Manager, taking over from Cal Roberts who is retiring after serving the resort for 43 years! Eastmond was most recently with the Veranda Resort & Residences in Turks and Caicos and previously part of the opening team at Sandy Lane in Barbados.

Larry Daniels has joined the Chateau Bourbon New Orleans Hotel as General Manager. He had been with Hyatt for more than twenty five years, most recently managing the Hyatt Regency DFW.

Walter Brindell moves as General Manager to the Park Hyatt Chicago. He was most recently the General Manager of the Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. Brindell is the former Vice President Rooms for Hyatt North America and previously served as General Manager of the Park Hyatt San Francisco.

Andrew Davidson takes over from Walter Brindell as General Manager of the Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. He was most recently the General Manager of the Grand Hyatt DFW and is the former General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Jersey City.

InterContinental Hotels Group has named Joel Eisemann Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for the Americas region. For the past twenty nine years, he had been with Marriott International, most recently as Executive Vice President, Global Asset Management.

Jim Anhut moves into the role of Senior Vice President Americas Brand Management for IHG. He has been with the company for over fifteen years, most recently as Chief Development Officer - North America.

Bruce James has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Matilda in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Most recently, he was the General Manager of the Goldsmith family’s Hacienda de San Antonio and Cuixmala.

Sage Hospitality has appointed Al Whitehouse Vice President of Acquisitions and Business Development. The Cornell graduate was most recently with Prism Hotels & Resorts in Dallas as Chief Investment Officer.

Manish Bhatia has been named General Manager of the Dolce Valley Forge Hotel in Pennsylvania. He had previously served as General Manager of the Hilton Mumbai International Airport and is the former General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston-Bedford Glen.

The Westin Diplomat Resort has appointed Ed Walls General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Westin Peachtree Plaza.

Timothy Wolfe has been named General Manager for the Antlers Hilton in Colorado. He had previously served as Regional Manager for RDA, overseeing the Sheraton Denver West and the Burnsley All Suite Hotel.

The Fairmont Washington, D.C. has appointed Mark Andrew Regional Vice President and General Manager. He was most recently the Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Fairmont Vancouver.

Chris Bebo has been named General Manager of the Hotel Lucia in Portland, Oregon. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn in Beaverton. He is the former General Manager of the Hotel Deluxe and the Hotel Max in Seattle.

After two months as Interim General Manager, it is finally permanent for Stan Kott at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, Washington. He is the former General Manager of the Alexis Hotel and opened the Hotel Monaco, both in Seattle.

Philip Barnes returns to Vancouver to take over from Mark Andrew as Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Fairmont Pacific Rim. He had previously spent seven years with Fairmont in Vancouver before moving to Dubai, as Fairmont’s Regional Vice President Middle East, then moved into the position of Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Fairmont Dubai.

Timothy Lusher has been appointed General Manager of the Westin Pasadena. He is the former General Manager at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego.

Diane Petit has been appointed General Manager of the Loews Portofino Bay, taking over from Paul Leclerc. Petit was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando. She is the former Executive Assistant Manager of the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando.

Jim McPartlin has moved back to the W New York as General Manager, replacing Gerard Widder, who went on to manage a private school in Manhattan. For the past two years, McPartlin had managed the W Hollywood. He is the former General Manager of the Gramercy Park Hotel and the W Times Square.

Greg Nunez has moved to the Mandarin Oriental Miami as Hotel Manager. He has been with the group since 2002, most recently as Acting General Manager of the former Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya. He is the former Hotel Manager at Elbow Beach Bermuda and Director of Operations, the Americas, for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Thomas Hoffman has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Westlake. He joined the property in 2008 as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served in food and beverage roles at the Four Seasons Manele Bay and the Four Seasons Atlanta.

The Fairmont Mayakobá has named Sven-Erik Richter Hotel Manager. He had previously served as Director of Operations at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle and the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace in Switzerland.

Michael Ryan has moved as Hotel Manager to the Gansevoort. He joined the company as the Director of Front Office at the Gansevoort Park Avenue. He is the former Hotel Manager of the Raleigh Miami and Front Office Manager at the Clarence Hotel in Dublin.

Michael Nenner has been promoted to Hotel Manager and joined the Four Seasons St. Louis. For the past three years, he had been with the Ritz-Carlton Chicago as Director of Rooms. He is the former Director of Rooms for the Cloister Hotel at Sea Island, and San Ysidro Ranch.

Bruce Ruggs has been named Ranch Manager of Kessler Canyon Guest Ranch. He is the former manager of the Inn at Keystone and the Great Divide Lodge.

Laura Batchelor has been named Director of Operations at the Chattanoogan and will continue in her current role as Director of Conference Services. She is the former Director of Catering and Resort Services for Mount Snow Resort in Vermont and is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.

Bixente Perry has moved to the Four Seasons Santa Barbara as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past four years, he had served in the same role at the Four Seasons Costa Rica.

Angelica Palladino has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage and joined the Four Seasons Vail. She was most recently with the Four Seasons Dallas at Las Colinas as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.

Mark Puereschitz has joined the Park Hyatt Chicago as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position at the Grand Hyatt DFW in Dallas.

Michael DeCanio has joined the St. Regis Houston as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Westin Copley Place and Director of Banquets for the Westin New York Times Square.

Tim Ryan has moved to the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas as Director of Restaurants. He was most recently serving in the same role at the MGM Grand after holding the position of General Manager at Fiamma for four years.

Michael van Emmenes has been named Director of Food and Beverage at Lansdowne Resort. He had previously served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage with Hilton Hotels and for the Palmer House Chicago.

Sebastian Stutz has joined the Roosevelt Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New Orleans as Director of Food and Beverage. He was the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach and the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall, before taking on his most recent post as Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.

Sven Norrenberg has joined the JW Marriott Santa Monica Le Merigot as Director of Food and Beverage. He was previously in the same role at the Hollywood Roosevelt. This is a return to Santa Monica for Norrenberg after serving as Director of Food and Beverage at Casa del Mar from 2007 – 2009.

Tobias Gessner has returned to the InterContinental San Francisco to take over the position of Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously been with the hotel as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage before taking on his most recent role overseeing food and beverage for the InterContinental Toronto Centre.

Sean Halpin has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. Halpin was most recently the Complex Operation Manager at Woodbine Racetrack in Ontario. 

Victoria Fernandez has joined L’Auberge Del Mar as Director of Food and Beverage. She was most recently with the InterContinental Tampa as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.

Hakan Kocak has joined the Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Manager and Sommelier for Ruth's Chris Steak House in Santa Barbara.

Heather Maloney has joined King & Grove in New York as Vice President Design. She was most recently the Director of Design at Morgans Hotel Group.

Clay Sawyer has been named Director of Marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group in Latin America and the Caribbean Region. He was most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Holiday Inn Parque Anhembi in Sao Paulo.

Leading Hotels of the World has named Phil Koserowski Vice President, Interactive Marketing. He was most recently Partner and Interactive Marketing Director with Ogilvy & Mather.

The St. Regis Punta Mita has named Andrea Carneiro Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past five years, Carneiro had been with the Four Seasons Punta Mita, most recently as Director of Sales.

The Ritz-Carlton Denver has appointed Mark Aldridge Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the former Waikiki Beach EDITION, and is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the London Marriott Grosvenor Square.

Chris Kandziora has joined the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at Miramonte and is the former Associate Director of Sales at the Crowne Plaza Northstar in Minneapolis.

The Hotel Palomar Philadelphia has appointed Travis Breen Director of Sales and Marketing. Most recently, Breen was the Associate Director of Sales for the Lorien Hotel and Spa, the Hotel Monaco and the Morrison House, all in Alexandria, Virginia.

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach has appointed Dana Beth Hagendorf Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing. She was most recently the founder and principal of Gallant Media Group.

Carey Rushatz has been named Area Director of Business Travel for Millenium and Copthorne Hotels, based in New York. She was most recently with Desires Hotels at the Hotel Mela as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Jack Bickart has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Lakeway Resort and Spa in Texas. He was most recently the Chief Sales Officer at the Horseshoe Bay Resort and is the former Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Barton Creek Resort & Spa.

Dan Shaughnessy has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Anaheim Marriott. He was most recently in the same position for the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa.

Anne Dunlavy has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. She had previously served the hotel as Director of Group Sales.

Deirdre Yack has been named Area Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt 48 Lex. She was most recently serving as opening Director of Sales and Marketing at Fashion 26 in Chelsea.

Allison Ante will be joining the Soho Grand as Director of Sales. She had previously served in sales positions with Highgate Hotels, Morgans Hotel Group, and the Kor Group.

The Grand Hyatt New York has named Eamon O’Brien Director of Sales. He was most recently the Associate Director of Sales for the Hyatt Regency Chicago, and is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile

Gregg Karasik has joined the SLS South Beach as Regional Director of Sales. He had previously served in a similar role for the Morgans Hotel Group based in Miami.

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has promoted David Scholefield as Director of Travel Industry Sales. He had joined the resort in 2006 as a National Sales Manager after spending eleven years with Best Western International in various sales roles.

Larry Jones has moved to the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey as Senior Sales Manager, Group. He was most recently a Senior Sales Manager for the Sofitel Los Angeles. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Chambers, and the Radisson University Hotel, both in Minneapolis.

Kristin Duvall is now at the Taj Pierre in New York as Associate Director of Travel Industry Sales. She was most recently the Director of Events for the Setai Fifth Avenue.

Jordan Kaye has been named Marketing and Communications Manager at the Andaz West Hollywood. He is a former Account Supervisor with The Rose Group.

Yadira Martinez has taken on the role of Director of Special Events and Promotions for both the Soho Grand and the Tribeca Grand. She had previously overseen food and beverage for both hotels before moving into her most recent role as Director of Food and Beverage with the One Group.

Andrew Broderick has joined the Montage Deer Valley as Director of Revenue Management. He was most recently with the Viceroy Snowmass as Revenue Manager. He had previously served in revenue positions for Vail Resorts and the Omni Hotel Los Angeles at California Plaza.

Yilin Sun is now in Florida with the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach as Director of Revenue Management. She was most recently in San Diego in the same position with the Grand Del Mar. She is the former Revenue Manager at the Fairmont Orchid.

Richard Brower has joined the Four Seasons New York as Executive Chef. For the past six years, he had been at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman as Chef de Cuisine of Blue.

Clayton Van Hooijdonk has moved to the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne as Executive Chef. For the past two years, he had held the same post with the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain. He is the former Executive Chef for the Ritz-Carlton Boston Common, and the InterContinental Mark Hopkins in San Francisco.

David Garcelon has been named Director of Culinary for the Waldorf=Astoria New York. He was most recently the Executive Chef of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. He is the former Executive Chef for the Fairmont Southampton Bermuda, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and the Lodge at Kananaskis.

Ken Nakano has been named Head Chef at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef of the Fairmont Empress in Victoria.

Jason McClain has joined the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles as Executive Chef. For the past two years, he had served as Assistant Executive Chef for the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula.

Andrew Powers has been named Executive Chef for the Sorrell River Ranch Resort & Spa in Utah. He was previously with the Waldorf Astoria Park City as Executive Sous Chef for Spruce.

The Hotel Matilda has named Jorge Boneta Executive Chef. He was most recently with the Rosewood Mayakobá on the Riviera Maya and is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Banyan Tree Cabo.

Paul Williams has joined the Opus Hotel Vancouver, overseeing the kitchens. He was previously the Executive Chef at the Laredo Country Club. Williams takes over from Brandon Thordarson now at the Opus Montreal.

Jason Weaver has been named Executive Chef for the Omni Dallas. This is return to Dallas for Weaver who is the former Executive Chef at the French Room in the Adolphus Hotel.  He was most recently the Executive Chef at La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa. He had held culinary stints with the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, the Mandarin Oriental New York, the Mandarin Oriental Miami and the Ritz-Carlton Dearborn.

Ronit Livneh has quickly been promoted from General Manager of Comme Ça West Hollywood to Regional Operations Manager for the David Myers Group. She had previously served seven years with the Hillstone Restaurant Group.

EUROPE

Corinthia Hotels has appointed Liam Lambert Chief Operating Officer. He was most recently President of Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and is the former Director of Operations, Europe, Africa and the Middle East for Mandarin Oriental Hotels.

London based Jupiter Hotels has appointed Andrew Gill as Interim Chief Executive Officer. For the past thirteen years, he had been with Intercontinental Hotels Group, most recently as Vice President Development, Europe.

Madrid’s Hotel Villa Magna has named Charles Morris General Manager. He is the former General Manager at the Leela Palace and the Peninsula Bangkok.

Gerald Krischek has been named General Manager at the Hotel Bristol Vienna. He is the former Hotel Manager at the Hotel Goldener Hirsch in Salzburg.

At the Grand Hotel de Bordeaux (formerly known as the Regent Bordeaux), Yan Vacher takes over from Michel Galopin as General Manager.

The PGA Catalunya Resort in Spain has appointed Julio Delgado Chief Executive Officer. He is the former General Manager of the Donnafugata Golf Resort and Spa. Delgado had previously served as Managing Director of the La Manga Club Resort and as General Manager of La Cala.

Yannick Paturel has been named General Manager for Agis SAS. He is the former General Manager of the Radisson SAS Aix les Bains and the Park Inn Lyon Ouest.

Florian Pick is now in Germany as Executive Assistant Manager for the Seehotel Uebergahrt. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta and the Mandarin Oriental Chiang Mai.

Daniel Stenzel has been promoted to Food and Beverage Director of the Excelsior Hotel Ernst. He joined the hotel in 2006 and was most recently the Assistant Food and Beverage Director.

Thistle's Parc Hotel in Cardiff has appointed Iain Inman Executive Chef for The Social. He had previously served in the kitchens of the Pennyhill Park Hotel and the Albannach Bar.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln Hotel, slated to open later this year, has appointed Alec Maxfield Head Chef for the hotel’s Electric Bar and Restaurant. He had previously worked at the Swan at Lavenham, and at Heston Blumenthal’s the Fat Duck.

Antoine Recher has been appointed Executive Director of Human Resources for Accor. He comes from Air France where he was most recently in charge of Human Resources for Servair, its foodservice subsidiary.

Jean-Paul Bucher, who had reinvented the concept of Brasserie in France, is dead. He had created the Groupe Flo, made of Brasserie Flo, Terminus Nord,Vaudeville, Boeuf sur le Toît, Bofinger and world famous La Coupole. He also purchased the French steakhouse Groupe Hippopotamus, and the Italian chain Bistro Romain. He had sold everything in 2005 to Belgian billionaire Albert Frère.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Marc-Francois Dardenne has joined the Pontiac Land Group in Singapore as Chief Executive Officer Hospitality. He was most recently in a similar role with the Emaar Hotel Group in Dubai.

John Rolfs has rejoined Ritz-Carlton as General Manager of the Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai. Rolfs had been with the company from 1989 – 2008, before taking on his most recent appointment as President and General Manager for the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Catherine Racsko has been named General Manager of the Sheraton Nha Trang in Vietnam. She was most recently at Le Méridien She Shan Shanghai as General Manager.

Wayne Reynolds is the new General Manager for the Pullman Reef Hotel Cairns. He is the former General Manager of the Peppers Beach Club & Spa.

Ed Linsley has joined the Nam Hai in Vietnam as General Manager. He is the former Resort Manager of the Four Seasons Bali at Jimbaran Bay and the Four Seasons at Manele Bay.

Christoph Szymanski is now managing the Mandarin Orchard Singapore. He was previously the General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Causeway Bay and is the former Resident Manager of the Holiday Inn Golden Mile, Hong Kong.

Michel Chertouh is now with the Crowne Plaza West Hanoi Hotel & Residences as General Manager. He was most recently in the same post with the InterContinental Rio de Janeiro. Chertouh is the former Cluster General Manager overseeing both the InterContinental Mar Menor Golf Resort & Spa and the InterContinental La Torre Golf Resort in Spain.

Christian Sack has joined the Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, in Siem Reap as General Manager. He comes from the Shangri-La Tokyo, where he was the Resident Manager. 

Murray Aitken has been appointed General Manager of the future Regent of Bali. He most recently ran the Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate in South Africa, following many years as an entrepreneur in Singapore.

Christoph Voegeli has been named General Manager of the Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa in Langkawi. He was most recently the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Melaka. He had previously held posts with the Hanoi Horison Hotel, the Hotel Sanur Beach in Bali, the Rembrandt Hotel and Towers in Bangkok and the Carlton Singapore.

Michael Bourne is the new General Manager at the Hilton Sydney. He is the former General Manager at the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf, the Hilton Brisbane, and the Hilton Melbourne Airport.

The Hilton Chennai has named Roger Brantsma General Manager. He is the former Director of Operations for the Hilton Sydney and the Hilton Phuket Arcadia.

Pierre Pérusset has taken over as Managing Director at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. He is the former Managing Director of the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, the Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place Jakarta and the JW Marriott Jakarta.

Krister Svensson has joined the St. Regis Bangkok as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the W Hong Kong.

Peter Hildebrand takes over from Krister Svensson as General Manager at the W Hong Kong. Hildebrand is the former General Manager of the Westin Fuzhou and Resident Manager on the Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai.

The Hilton Shanghai has appointed Gerd Knaust General Manager. He was previously overseeing both the Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay and the Doubletree by Hilton, Sanya Haitang Bay. He had formerly overseen the Mandarin Oriental Surabaya, the Excelsior Hotel Hong Kong and the Mandarin Oriental Sanya.

Swire Hotels has promoted Dean Winter to the newly created role of Area General Manager, Hong Kong. He will continue in his current position as General Manager of the Upper House. Winter was previously the Executive Assistant Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong for five years.

Antoine Melon has joined Trisara in Phuket as Resort Manager. He was most recently at the Six Senses Laamu Resort as Resident Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.

Jennifer Cheung has been promoted at EAST in Hong Kong to Hotel Manager. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the hotel.

Marcel Thoma has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Upper House Hong Kong. He was most recently serving as the Director of Guest Experience.

Lawrence McFadden has been named Corporate Director of Food and Beverage at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts based in Hong Kong. Adrian Stoppe has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Andaman. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Marriott Resort & Spa Hua Hin.

BC Hotel and Residences Beijing has named Bou Chu Director of Food and Beverage. He was previously in the same position at the Park Hyatt Seoul.

Jennifer Qi has been named Director of Finance at the BC Hotel and Residences Beijing. She was previously in the same position with Pullman Hotels.

Vera Li has joined BC Hotel and Residences Beijing as Director of Human Resources. She was previously in the same position with Pullman Hotels.

Taj Hotels has promoted Deepa Harris to Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Harris is taking over from Ajoy Misra, who after thirty one years with Taj Hotels, is joining (sister company) Tata Global Beverages as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. Harris has been with Taj for over twenty eight years, most recently as Vice President, Marketing.

Gareth Walters has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for both Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor and Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh. He was most recently with the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi as Director of Sales.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village has named Donna Lynn Nakai Director of Event Services. She was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.

Gregory Viaud has moved to the Four Seasons Maui as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in a similar post with the Four Seasons Bora Bora.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Alex Kyriakidis has been named President and Managing Director at Marriott International, overseeing the Middle East and Africa division, based in Dubai. He was most recently with Deloitte as Global Managing Director for Tourism, Hospitality & Leisure.

Pasquale Baiguera has been named General Manager of the Radisson Blu Conference and Airport Hotel Istanbul. He has been with the company since 1996, overseeing the Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel in Prague, the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and, most recently, the Radisson Blu Dubai Media City.

Grant Ruddiman has been named General Manager of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers. He is the former Pre-Opening Complex General Manager for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.

Ralph Radtke has been named General Manager of the Ciragan Palace Istanbul. He is the former Senior Vice President Northern, Central & Eastern Europe for Sofitel.

Cornelia Erhardt has been appointed General Manager of the Radisson Blu Resort, Fujairah. She was most recently General Manager of the Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort. She is the former General Manager o the Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina.

Panos Panagis has been appointed General Manager of the Diplomat Radisson Blu Residence and Spa, Bahrain. He was most recently the General Manager for Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos.

Stephan Kapek has moved over to the Shangri-La Dubai as General Manager. For the past two years, he had served as Resident Manager for the Traders Hotel Qaryat Al Beri by Shangri-La.

The Crowne Plaza Dubai has promoted Georges Farhat to Hotel Manager. He joined the hotel as a management trainee in 1994 and was most recently serving as Resident Manager.

The Grand Millennium Al Wahda has appointed Marwan Mseikeh Hotel Manager. For the past four years he has served as General Manager of the Kingsgate Abu Dhabi.

Houssam Mansour has moved over to the Hilton Ankara in Turkey as Director of Operations. He was most recently in the same role at the Hilton Sharm El Sheik Fayrouz Resort.

Tabish Siddiquie has moved over to the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi as pre-opening Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position for the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota. He had previously served in food and beverage posts for the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, and the Ritz-Carlton South Beach.

Christian Gérart has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Anantara Qasr Al Sarab Resort and Spa and the Anantara Deserts Islands Resort and Spa in the UAE. He is the former Resident Manager of the Gran Melia Hotel Jakarta, and had overseen food and beverage for the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa.

Jacqui Brits has joined the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates as Director of People Services. She has previously overseen human resources in retail for Azadea in Dubai.

The Grand Millennium Al Wahda has named Adam Harvey Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously served in sales positions with Radisson Blu and the Park Inn Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.

The Yas Viceroy has appointed Michel Jost Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef for the Hyatt La Manga & Las Lomas in Spain, the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki Regency Casino and Complex Executive Chef for Astir Palace in Vouli.

The W Doha has named Ibrahim Khalil Hamam Executive Sous Chef. He is the former Head Chef of the Pearl Qatar.
