Kinetic Staff Presenting at International Conference

Every March over 500 collegiate conference professionals gather together to discuss conference industry trends and network with their peers. During the conference, educational sessions give participants an opportunity to learn more about their continually evolving industry.

Laura and Mark are presenting for the second year on 2 business management related topics including Improving Customer Service Levels by Instituting a One-Stop Shop Business Model and Five Key Business Strategies Designed to Streamline Operations and Maximize Resources in a Challenging Economy. Mark said, “In our line of business we work with many different university and college professionals throughout the United States and Canada. Over the years we’ve collected vast amounts of valuable information that can directly benefit other institutions looking for new ways to manage their departments more efficiently. ACCED-I gives us an outlet to share our knowledge with a large, target audience.”
This year’s ACCED-I conference also marks the end of Laura’s four-year term of service on the Board of Directors. As a board member, Laura has been one of twelve board members responsible for the overall governance of the association.

The Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International consists of over 1,600 campus professionals who design, market, coordinate and plan conferences and special events on the campuses of colleges and universities around the world. Since 1980, ACCED-I has increased the visibility and enhanced the stature of the collegiate conference and events profession. Kinetic Software joined ACCED-I back in 2005 as a corporate member.
