One happy news for Kannada Movie icon Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s millions of
fans is that the memorial of the DADA will remain at the two acre
plot in the Abhiman Studio owned by Late actor Balakrishna’s sons.
The estranged family members of the late actor have now reached an agreement which has allowed a smooth passage for the registration of the two acre plot to the Vishnu Memorial trust. This was disclosed by Ms. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan to the media persons in a press meet organised on Friday after noon. The press conference was organised to reveal all the details about the programmes initiated for the second death anniversary of the DADA.
Last year the Vibha Trust had organised screening of films of Dr. Vishnu in Garuda Mall and Kapali. But this time, Kannada Chalanachithra Academy has also joined to ensure that a large number of audience from districts will be able to view films of the legendary actor on 30th December 2011. 30 films will be screened in one theatre in the district main centre to allow an opportunity for the fans to view the film.
On 30th December this year, the Vibha Trust in association with many programmes like health checkups. The check ups to be conducted by well known doctors from Various Hospitals for Blood pressure, sugar, dental, artificial limb, polio, women related diseases and eye related problems. A blood donation camp is also organised in which Ramaiah hospital,, Raja Rajeswari dental college, , BGS global,Hospital, Sapthagiri hospital, Karnataka Red cross will be associated
