Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd. (SSTL), which nationally operates telecom services under the MTS brand, on Monday announced the launch of its high-speed mobile broadband service, MBlaze, in nine towns — Coochbehar, Chittaranjan, Andal, Bagdogra, Mayapur Rupnarayanpur, Kajora, Niamatpur and Tindharia.
With this roll out, Sistema Shyam extends its MBlaze footprint to 27 towns across West Bengal Circle.
The company provides high speed mobile broadband services in over 300 Indian cities, including the five major metros.
SSTL is a joint venture between Sistema of Russia and the Shyam Group of India. Sistema is the majority shareholder in the joint venture company. The company employs over 3,500 employees, operates through a network of over 3 lakh retailers and has made investments of over $3.1 billion, according to a release.
