Interstate Hotels & Resorts today announced that JHM Interstate
Hotels India, a 50/50 joint venture management company between
Interstate and JHM Hotels, has signed a contract to manage the Ramada
Hotel in Alleppey, Kerala, India.
The 120-room, under-construction hotel, which is owned by Mr. Reji Cheriyan, is anticipated to open in 2012.
When open, the Ramada Hotel in Alleppey will be the first internationally branded hotel in the market. Located on Punnamada Finishing Point Road along Lake Punnamada, the under- construction Ramada Alleppey will feature a number of outlets including a rooftop restaurant and bar with stunning views of Kerala. Other facilities will include a health club/spa, a business center and state-of-the-art conferencing and meeting facilities. All guest rooms will overlook the picturesque lake and backwaters of Kerala, in addition to the finish line of the renown Nehru Trophy Boat Race held every year.
JHM Interstate Hotels India Pvt. Ltd is a 50/50 joint venture partnership formed in 2008 between Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc. and JHM Hotels. It is headquartered near New Delhi, India, with a fully staffed Resource Center in Gurgaon, Haryana. The management team in Gurgaon provides expertise in all aspects of hotel operations including sales and marketing, food and beverage, information technology, human resources, construction and design, finance and quality assurance.
