Ga. Southern to Hold Conference on At-Risk Youth

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Georgia Southern University is holding a national conference on at-risk youth featuring Oprah Winfrey's longtime partner, Stedman Graham.
The 2012 National Youth-At-Risk Conference is March 4-7 in Savannah. The conference aims to help educators mentor at-risk students in school districts across the country.
Graham, an author, educator and motivational speaker, will deliver the keynote address March 4 at 6 p.m.
Other speakers include New York University professor of education Pedro A. Noguera and Stephen W. Edwards, president and CEO of Edwards Educational Services, Inc.
